Crib Linens… They’re Not Just Sheets Anymore! January 14, 2008

Filed under: Baby — leighnut @ 2:30 pm

The new term in baby bedding is crib linens. Because apparently Baby needs new designer terminology to describe the sheets s/he will pee and poop and puke on. My mom and I make fun of it whenever we talk about it. The big news is that the crib linens for Sunny have been chosen! Since there is no known gender (woo hoo!), we’re going green. No cartoon characters or anything — just fun prints in a pretty, pretty color. It’s called Doodles by Sweet Kyla, made by our northern friends in Canada, eh. Here’s a link to see what it looks like:

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see the light khaki wall color that will be in the nursery, too.

I love the sheets. Will any part of the “ensemble” include the dots pattern?

  2. leighnut Says:

Yes, there will be dots. The coverlet has dots in the patchwork and I think I will order the cute little wicker basket lined with the dot pattern. Or maybe the diaper stacker that hangs off the side of the crib to keep diapers in… so many choices!

I love the simple and elegant designs of baby bedding these days. Have you seen the linens that http://www.Babybox.com carries? I love the Mod designs!

  4. Christine Says:

I am SO glad you are getting the wicker basket lined with the dot pattern. It definitely got my attention right away…

  5. leighnut Says:

Yeah, it’s totally cute. I love it.
