Being pregnant the second time around is little different than the first time. For me, I’m not pregnancy-obsessed this time. I’m not reading everything I can get my hands on, not constantly checking the development of the baby, reading and rereading the little blurbs that growth-tracker websites post. I’m aware of movement and doing what I need to do to grow a healthy baby, but I’m just not hyper-aware this time. All normal, I think.
What I didn’t expect, and what is probably just as normal, is that I’m more achey this time. My ligaments and muscles are all, “Ohhhh yeah, we remember this. Let’s just streeeeetch right out and relaaaaax.” I get it, but still. My lower back hates me by the end of the day. And really, the feeling is entirely mutual. But. But! In two days, I’ll totally be halfway. I think we should have a party. 🙂
