One Fish, Two Fish

Week 37 February 1, 2011

Filed under: Mom and Dad,Pregnant!,Sam,Third Trimester — leighnut @ 11:19 am

Today baby is full term! She could be born any day and most likely not have any problems. This is great news. The average 37-week baby is about 6.3 pounds and 19 inches long, like swiss chard. I like swiss chard.

I’m very uncomfortable today. I just feel like body parts are stretching my belly in different ways today. I feel better when I’m sitting. Not that sitting is much of an option most days. Sam has a bad cold and isn’t feeling well. I’m kind of grateful for his lower energy today. I mean, I hate for him to be sick and miserable, but I’m glad for a slower pace.

We’re just sitting around waiting and waiting. Tonight, we’re supposed to have a blizzard with a predicted 12-19 inches of snow. Maybe the barometric pressure will change enough to get labor started. I wish it worked that way! πŸ™‚

that’s kinda why we think i delivered so early! there was a huge change in pressure and there were a lot of other births. yours would be a good thing though! πŸ™‚
