Sam’s Milestones August 27, 2008

May 13, 2008 — Sam is born!
July 1, 2008 — First real smile
July 28, 2008 — Rolls from tummy to back
August 10, 2008 — First laugh!
August 12, 2008 — Sam discovers his hands
August 20, 2008 — First trip on an airplane. You were a champ!
August 24, 2008 — Rolls from back to tummy twice
August 29, 2008 — Sam rolls over (back to tummy) for Rob
August 30, 2008 — Sam finds his feet
September 23, 2008 — Sam does a 360 in his exersaucer
September 28, 2008 — Sam tries rice cereal and eats it all up!
October 1, 2008 — Sam turns the pages on his board books. “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” is his favorite.
October 3, 2008 — Sam takes his pacifier out of his mouth and puts it back in
October 16, 2008 — Sam figures out that he has hair — and pulls it!
October 25, 2008 — Sam sits unsupported and plays with his toys!
October 28, 2008 — Sam passes his pacifier from one hand to the other.
November 6, 2008 — Sam gets up on all fours (tummy off the ground) for a second — three times in a row!
November 9, 1008 — Sam army crawls to reach a toy. Such determination!
November 10, 2008 — Sam puts his pacifier in his mouth all by himself.
November 26, 2008 — Sam claps his hands!
November 28, 2008 — Sam finds his vowels. No more MMMMMMM all the time!
December 8, 2008 — Sam gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth for a minute!
December 21, 2008 — Sam pulls himself up to his knees.
December 31, 2008 — Sam pulls himself up to his feet!
January 2, 2009 — Sam crawls. For real.
January 6, 2009 — I found Sam standing in his crib after a nap.
January 10, 2009 — Sam’s first tooth is coming in!
January 11, 2009 — Sam cruises from stool to coffee table.
February 2, 2009 — Sam walks while pushing the laundry basket!
February 11, 2009 — Sam stands by himself for a couple of seconds.
February 12, 2009 — Sam strings syllables together. Ba-ba-ma-ma-etc.etc.
March 17, 2009 — Sam walks the length of a hotel hallway with the support of one Daddy hand.
March 20, 2009 — Sam walks five steps all by himself!! Wooo!
March 23, 2009 — Sam’s two upper teeth finally break through.
March 25, 2009 — Sam gives kisses to Mommy and Daddy. Big open-mouthed wet kisses. Mmm!
May 24, 2011 — Sam finally says Monongahela. Daddy has been working on that word since his birth! Out of the blue, Sam looked at Rob and said, “I won’t say Monogahewa, Daddy.”
